Raspberry Pi 4 is a single-board computer that has just been released by Raspberry Pi org, after Raspberry Pi 3 B+, it is a device with very advanced features, many things have been updated inside the Raspberry Pi 4 model such as RAM, Processor, Display screen, USB Port, etc. Information about them is given below.
It is very different from Arduino it is a complete computer that is in one board and Arduino is a microcontroller board
1) Processor
The processor that is in this Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is Quad-core Arm Cortex–A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit, whereas Arm Cortex – A53 was used in Raspberry Pi 3 Model B . Arm Cortex – A72 processor used in Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is 3 times better. It is a very powerful processor by using it from Arm Cortex – A53.
2) Dual Display
Two HDMI ports have been given in Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, in which you can connect two different Display Monitor, for these two Micro USB HDMI ports have been used in this, for this the only use that will be used will be Micro HDMI to HDMI. If you want to use a Normal HDMI Cable, then you will also have to use a connector. Talking about its video quality, it gives 4k Video i.e. Ultra High Definition Quality Display Screen whereas before that Raspberry Pi 3 supports High-Quality Video in it. If two monitors are run simultaneously, then the display quality of both the monitors will be found at 4K30 + 4K30, while the display quality of both the monitors will run at 4K60.
3) Bluetooth
Bluetooth 5.0 has been introduced in the Raspberry Pi 4 model. Bluetooth 5.0 is already an upgraded version, its speed is twice that of the earlier Raspberry Pi 3, its data transfer speed is 2 Mbps.
4) Gigabit Ethernet
Raspberry Pi 3 model comes with Normal Ethernet which can accept Internet speed up to 300 Mbps while the port coming in Raspberry Pi 4 model can accept Internet speed up to 1 Gigabit. This Raspberry Pi 4 Model B with Gigabit Ethernet, come with the onboard combination of wireless networking and Bluetooth.
5) Dual-Band Wi-Fi
All the Raspberry models that have come so far, their range was up to 60 meters and the range of Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is 4 times better than that i.e. its range supports up to 240 meters, which is quite good, Dual Band used in it for Wi-Fi connectivity. It works on 2.5 and the other on 5 GHz.
6) USB Port
Four USB ports have been installed in the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, in which two ports are coming inside 2.0 and two ports 3.0, whereas in the earlier Raspberry Pi 3 model, two USB ports came with 2.0, in Raspberry Pi 4 model we can transfer data well. Can connect with USB devices.
7) RAM
Raspberry Pi 4 Model B has launched three versions, in which there are versions of Raspberry Pi 4 up to 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, before that the old version of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model used to have only 1GB of onboard RAM.
8) Power Supply
The Raspberry Pi 4 model has an updated USB Type C power port that takes 5 Volts of input. Earlier Raspberry Pi 3 models used Micro USB.
